The limited-edition collection Converse x Mickt Flior brings an original take on a beloved (new) classic, the Run Star Hike platform sneakers, for those who don't settle for basic.
Mickt's world of abstract dynamic shapes and bold colors is heavily inspired by the notion of constant movement. Native of Rio, Brazil (also known as the Wonderful City), the designer seeks to visually translate all the city's movements to an abstract and poetic language: The coastal waves that envelop the city; the dancing the leaves at the Tijuca national park; and the the population, always coming and going, dancing, and playing. “no two organic lifeforms are exactly the same".
With three powerful color combos to choose from, this collection is for those who are always ready to be seen.

Rough sketches presenting the basic idea were applied to the jackets to give clients a better idea of the expected result.
Drawing on the back of the jackets, after applying two coats of fabric paint and waiting for each layer to dry.
Each element was outlined with Posca pens to facilitate painting. Each jacket used at least two layers of each color, with detailed areas requiring extra coats.
